We just love decorating 4inch cakes. They’re really good for simple but meaningful occasions, and they’re so wonderful to decorate!
Since the last post was all about modern day London, how about we backtrack so something medieval like this castle cake with our young knight with his cute dragon! (I know they should be killing each other, but why would I want all that chaos on a cake?!)
Believe me when I say, London is more MORE than this set, but given the number of desserts and space that we have, we had to limit our imagination to what we know of whatever’s in London which are the guards, black cabs, brick structures, London, Big Ben, the Harrod’s bear, Underground, red bus and of course, never EVER forget- the queen 🙂
This will probably the only time in my life I’d be able to do this ———– #WOD
When I received this order, the client was thinking more of muscles and weights around, and stuff. I suggested to make him do pull-ups! WHAT WAS I THINKING?
So after I vomit that idea, I had to think of how to make this guy float! It’s not the first time I’ve done it, but this had a man, a cross fit coach who had to be upright while doing pull-ups! So there was the structure of the bars, and the skeleton of the little body and such. Twas so much fun and crazy and challenging, but hey, had loads of fun 😀
Because we do cakes for events, weekends on actual weekend days are quite rare for us. This week, we only had Sunday, and Lisane spent most of the afternoon playing Card Wards! I’ve had a phase too, better yet, we’ve had to do a small Adventure Time cake set with little cupcakes and all 🙂
(So sorry, I didn’t know the cake photo was blurry until today 😦 That makes me really sad because I like this cake… )
The beauty of weddings does not necessarily rely on the suppliers, or how expensive the flowers are. It’s really about the people celebrating it! This cake was customised for my beautiful, young and fun-loving friends, Tim and Ash.
It was a wedding full of love and excitement that I couldn’t help but feel honoured to have been part of it 🙂
